"The foundation of my work begins with examining a given space in an existing or planned architectural environment. The tapestry should not only be monumental, functional, but according to me, must also realise the necessary link between man and his surroundings. To achieve this, strength and clarity, both in structure and design, are essential conditions.

I am convinced that the limitation placed on me by the materials used and weaving techniques employed is essential so that the tapestry retains its traditional function."
